So I finally found a seat that would fit my height (6'3") in the form of the Sparco Evo II.

So now i need to get it mounted. From looking at the Sparco options the heavy duty aluminum appear the only mounts that don't stick out wider than the seat so that is what I'm leaning towards. Before I order them I wanted to check what others have run in their first gen Camaro's or similar set ups.

The mounts I'm looking at are these:

But I also want the mounts that will allow the seat to sit as low as possible.

Thanks

FYI I ended up using a new aluminum bracket sparco is introducing.

It is a straigh L rather than kicked out like their base model aluminum and steel brackets. The HD aluminum are at least an inch longer on both ends so it gives a lot more variet of for/aft and recline/height options than their other brackets but I didn't need that.

One problem I ran into is that my Sparco Evo II seat barely fits between the trans tunnel and door sill rocker area Nd only because I have it mounted so far back. It will not be able to slide forward very far for someone who is shorter before it hits the trans tunnel.
