My question, I have a 71 nova. Dropped 3 in rear and 2 up front all detroit suspension speed 1 kit up front. I'm trying to post a pic haveing probs but front sits really high and stiff. My question is what are the measurements for a stock disc front spinldes. Reason I ask the guy who gave them with the car wasn't sure the yr or what they came from. All help be great thanks for yalls time

What engine? Do you have big block springs with a small block? Pozziracing.com has a lot of good information regarding spindles etc.

It's sbc springs and running a sbc. Just the info guy told me about spindles he wasn't sure if they where from a nova or camaro.

I don't see how spindles could make the suspension too stiff. Shocks or springs are where I would look. Two inch drop in the front and three in the back would likely make the nose high. These cars were a little nose high out of the factory.

Gotya, just seems like it's in a bind is all. Detroit told me doing this that my car sit lvl. If anything guess I'm gonna do 2 inch drop spindles with my brake kit

This may be a stupid question: is this just after install you are looking at ride height or have you driven the car and let the suspension settle? Also are the springs indexed correctly in the subframe?...
