Anybody have experience installing these shocks. I heard they are similar to the ridetech?

The end of the shock body is way to wide to fit into the A-arm. On top of that mine uses the clips instead of the weld on nuts that some had. So even more grinding. The Horizontal shock mount also seems to be the same width.

There are two round spacers that came with the shocks. It looks like I need to use them between the A-arm and shock mount and thus some longer bolts too. There were no instructions that come with the shocks.

I was doing some grinding and getting close but ended up bailing out and putting the old shocks back in to make it to a car cruise.

Anyone have some comments or suggestions if this is the norm? Anyone have picks of their installation? Anyone know if the spacers should be used the way I described?

Thanks

Ryan, I had to do that with my Ridetech HQ's. The Ridetech shocks I have look just like those shocks you have there and both are made by FOX. I ended up having to grind out my SPC lower A arms and spacers just like you're doing.
