Has anyone been to the thermal private tracks? If been kicking around the idea of joining for awhile the only racing Iv done is off-road or late at night and once at scca auto cross. So the instruction and track difficulty are interesting to me and my wife. I'm in the process of building a 66 mustang fb with coyote full chassis race/street car and my wife has a mini JWC clubman so her being able to use her car is also important Iv already contacted them and am waiting on a response for some of the cost info but am more interested in anyone's personal experiences with them. Thanks any info on any of the private tracks or comparisons between them is of great value to me.

I would just go to Chuckwalla instead to take a class, do open lapping, etc. The Thermal club has an annual fee of around 20k and a one time joining fee of 75k + if I remember right. It really is the whole country club model, with cars.
