So this is Elizabeth-I bought this non numbers matching 67 GTO back in April of 2014, I have come to find out with buying a classic car is that you never know what your going to get. After a couple months of light driving I developed a knock, I changed the oil from the beginning and noticed a it was extremely thick! So from the beginning I never trusted the "good work" that the previous owner told me that he did. I have found patch panels filled in with window sealant and nice chrome self tapping screws to hold things down. I have been following the pro touring forum for some time without letting the world know what I have been building in the garage.

The Plan - To go absolutely crazy!
I have been working with Butler performance to get my 400 back in the business of kicking a**!
The suspension has been built with parts from Speed Tech and SC&C performance.
I spent hours upon hours getting all the road grime and oil off the frame so it can be painted
I will be running C5 Z06 brakes (thank goodness for a buddy upgrading his brakes)

The list continues but I will continue to post updates about Elizabeth and will be willing to answer any sort of questions about the build. I have jump head first into the deep end and I really appreciate everything yall post on here it has helped me solve some issues and keep pressing towards the end result.

Thanks
Nathan

Always loved GTOs...will be interesting to see those Volks on there. I have replicas of them on my 240!

I'm in. Iv'e got a similar 67 GTO build going as well. There is a link in my signature if you're interested.

What are you doing with the 400? If you're installing 4 bolt caps on a Pontiac, I have to assume it must be pretty serious business?

Is that SC&C's new front end brace you have installed? What are your thoughts on it?

@Justin - couple months after the rendering was done I found out the volks are not going to work super bummed :( but I am going to try and find a work around. P.S. I need a radiator! lol

@Nick - Man I have been following you for awhile and really like what your doing! So the 400 has been bored 60 over, 4 bolt mains, 487 stroker, forged H beams, flat top forged pistons, solid roller lifters, CNC round port heads, full msd ignition, and the list continues. I am in the process of getting the engine together, hopefully my cam comes in today! Shooting for High 600 to 700 ft/lb of torque NA.
Frame Brace was a breeze, except for drilling through the skid plate! I would recommend a strong drill bit and slow motor speed, after I drilled it it was tapped; cant remember the size. At the time I did not have the sway bar so I measured and measured before I actually marked and drilled. The sway bar was a tight fit but it was parallel to the frame brace so I was pleased. Anything to help this car drive better than it did (Yacht) when I first got it will be a plus, Also replaced all the body mounts to ABC Performance solids.

can help with both instances...call me when you're ready for a Radiator, and the wheels you can get as a Rota..either the CVN or Fighter..which I have on my car in 18x9.5 but you can get wider
