im getting ready to build some adjustable strut rods for my maverick. same as 68-70 mustang. all the ones ive seen are solid mounted to the lower control arm with no pivot at all. now if near stock alignment angles are used, i can see how this is not a problem. the problem i see is that the more the lower control arm is pulled forward to increase caster, the angle of the strut rod to the lower control arm should change. am i over thinking this?

Most likely. The holes are slotted to allow you to get the correct angle without stressing the assembly. Give us/me a call tomorrow.
