Looking for second hand worth Moser 9", QA1's etc

Okay I am just trying to get an idea on resale, if I found a frame that was already equipped with coil overs a 9" rear end etc.etc. Could I sell my stuff and come out okay, or would the bath be too cold to handle..

so just trying to get an idea, the parts have a couple hundred miles if that, they all look new. But they aren't so ..

Can I ask what kind of frame are you swapping for? Is it aftermarket?

It would be if I could make it work. Really depends on what I could sell my stuff for and what I would end up paying for a frame.. This particular one is Art Morrison, But I doubt I could get it going. I would have to make an offer and then decide what I could sell my stuff for to see if I could make it work. At this point, I'm not even clear what a good offer is on a basically new frame that is from an abandoned project.

Well they go for 14k + new so if it were me it wouldn't sell for less than 11-12k. Personally I would just add an hpi customs kit and narrow the frame rails over the axle in case you want to widen the tires in the future.
I'm not sure water your intent is for the car, but if it's serious track or autocross you can be very competitive on a factory chassis with bolt ons. If you don't believe me ask Tom Farrington ....

Not trying to deter you if you want the chassis, but if you buy it before you sell yours there is a chance of very little or no return for a while

I always appreciate frank responses, regardless if they are what I want to hear or not ;) but I figured reselling my stuff would be a kick in the teeth , wishful thinking, I run 325s now they seem like a good width but a 375 or something would be nice for sure ;). I'm going to stop thinking about an aftermarket chassis and concentrate in putting s plan together to get another stock or convert frame and get it massaged and go from there.

Sounds like a better idea IMO. I was thinking that way for a while and then decided the HPI customs kit will be the way I go. I'm going to get an extra frame next year and box it up when I get ready to paint.
