The Ugliest Camaro Ever?

Hey, I thought I'd share this with everyone cause I got a good laugh out of it. I googled "68 camaro custom interior" cause I'm brainstorming interior colors/etc for my '68, and this eBay auction was on the first page of hits. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a jerk about this guy's car, but seriously, what was he thinking? I guess you could attribute it to the fact that all of this work was apparently done like 12 years ago, and styles have significantly changed since then. However, in all honesty, this might be the most horrendous choice of color schemes I've ever seen in an interior, and the body kit makes it look like an early 70's Mach 1. To give the guy credit, the work in the engine compartment (minus the "Oh Sheri" on the firewall) seems to be pretty decently done. Well, without any further adue (sp?), here she is:

I NEVER understood the attraction to the hot pink schemes you see on some people's cars. That and purple too. The blue on this guy's car isn't pretty either.

The outside isn't bad however, could do without the graphics but not bad overall. Those fender flares say something's up though.

The previous owner of my current car, shown in the avatar, was sttarted to paint the entire car pink. In fact he painted the undercarriage, suspension, engine bay, rearend, heater box, steering column, etc pink. Luckily he changed his mind before he shot the body and then laid a coat of black over the pink coat. Hopefully after this winter I will have the rest of the pink removed as all I have left to clean up is the subframe and engine bay.

It is perfect if you are the pink panther or for a night at the Roxberry. IT could be fixed and because it is soo ugly it might be a good deal for someone who wants a clean project car. I have seen heaps sell for 11k as sad as that sounds

I thought about that too. If you could get that thing for ~10k, that would be a pretty decent price for a running '68 Camaro with no rust or major mechanical problems. Other than some minor restoration, and a redo of the paint and interior, there's really not that much you'd have to do to that car to have a decent driver.
