Crankshaft C/L to ground clearance

I am building a tube chassis drag car with a-arm front suspension. Motor plates used on front and mid. 4 link rear 110 WB. 533 engine. What is the rule of thumb that you have your crank center line to ground clearance set at.

Too low and you fight oil pan/oiling and driveline angles.
Set your rear end and such then place your engine accordingly. I like the "How to make your car handle" by Fred Puhn.
Lots of good info and such. Also learned from other places and sources.
