Looking for a ballpark price to expect for a shop to make up the lines and charge the AC system on my project. Haven't ever really had AC work like this done before and don't want to get drug over the coals. Car is an 85 Monte SS with an LS/Holley 20-134 Bracket/Sanden SD5.

I know it's going to differ quite a bit but mainly curious what others are paying to have this service done.

TIA!

A little bit of a tangent, but I took the test online and paid the $15 several years ago to get my refrigerant license. Tools to do the work myself were cheaper than 1 trip to a shop.

I like that! Thinking outside of the box. I'm definitely a DIYer but hadn't thought of that. Kicker is I'm currently being relocated so all of my junk is in storage for the time being and I'd like to get the AC working before I get to TX! I put this project on the back burner for too long and now I'm going to have to buck up and pay someone.

All done.. Ended up at a hair under $300 for anyone who cares. New dryer, lines, connected & charged.
