Description:
PICTURES ARE NOW UP. SCROLL DOWN

I have a very low mileage Hurst Billet Plus short throw shifter for T56 transmission in good condition for sale. Only selling because I had this from my last T56 and when I bought my new built T56 transmission it came with the same shifter so I don't need 2 of them. I have been through all the different brand and style of short throw shifter and the Hurst Billet Plus short throw shifters are my favorite by far. They have one of the shortest throws but aren't notchy or hard to get in gear. Very smooth just like a stock shifter except the throw is shortened by about 33% I believe. They are just great shifters without compromise.
I will be posting pictures later. I can also text or email pictures.

$175 obo

Thanks

Up to the top....

Definitely a great deal. Friend convinced me to wait and get the mgw, so I'll have to pass this time bud. I'm sure someone will pick it up tho!

No worries. They are very similar and pretty much the same shifter. Biggest difference is the MGW is slightly more aggressive and more notchy. They both have pretty much the same % shortness in throw. And they both achieve their attributes in different ways....biggest reason why I like and chose the Hurst over the MGW is because of the shift handle design. Whereas MGW designed the way their shift handle mounts by placing a sort of spacer at the base where the handle mounts to move the handle back to achieve better leverage and and comfort of grip position. Hurst achieved the same things just in a different way by building the rearward bend/angle right into the handle itself which is a design I like the feel and performance of a little better than the MGW design. But in the end they are both great shifters, probably the top 2 shifters actually. Just depends on what you want in a shifter as far as performance and the drawbacks you are willing to deal with for that performance. I feel that the Hurst has all the performance needed with pretty much zero drawbacks. But everyone feels differently about things which is why you see one car someone feels drivability is like stock and someone else feels that same car would be too much if it was anything other than an occasional weekend cruiser.
You will like the MGW as it is a great shifter. And whoever ends up buying this Hurst will end up with a great shifter that they love how it performs and drives....as well as getting a great deal on.
