S10 steering box in first gen???

I have a steering box from an S10 xtreme, was wondering if it would work in my 68 firebird. I know that the iroc steering box is a well documented upgrade and that the Monte Carlo steering boxes have similar gear ratios but the internal stops are wrong. Been looking and can't find any info on the S10 box..... also is the Trans am WS6 steering box the same as the iroc? I have seen no mention of those either??? Any help is greatly appreciated

I would pass on the S10 box, its not valved right.
Try ordering up a 92-98 Grand Cherokee box, use a dorman rag joint for a C series Chevy truck and Lee can source the inserts so you can use the old inverted flare lines OR get some adapter fittings from NAPA(I heard they have them.)
