I want a 4 wheel Manual disc set up that I can run 15" and 17" wheels. Am I asking too much of a braking system? Street driven 66gto. Maybe an occasional auto-x and a trip down the strip but that's rare.
Cost is a consideration.
Id do Kore3 set up in a heart beat if I could accommodate the 15"'s.
Seems every kit I look at has something missing. Can anyone just help point me in a direction I can do some research on?
thanks!!

Check with Ron Sutton at
[email protected]. He's a supporter of this site and very knowledgeable. He should be able to help you figure out just what you need for an optimum brake system that will work with 15" wheels. Ron's also good with figuring out the missing adapters and such that don't come with an off the shelf brake kit.

I would think some surplus NASCAR brakes would be one way to go since they run 15" wheels. Here are a couple of places that sell surplus NASCAR parts that may be able to set you up.

I ran this for the same reason. Fits 15" Rally Wheels.

Tobin makes an adapter to fit a Corvette C3 caliper which will work for 15" wheels, he makes it for the vintage race guys. Its a little bit pricey, but his stuff is always very nice. Its on my list of upgrades, but I'm still in love with the 14" spinner hub caps on my 65 GTO 23 years later so I'm not ready to make the switch yet. His solution is only for the fronts, but that is probably all you need for what your doing. Lets see some pics of your 66!!

My only issue with this kit is that you're over $1500 for fronts only. Seems pricey for what ya get.
