64 Bill Thomas Cheetah recreation build at EVOD

We are finishing up on a 1964 Bill Thomas Cheetah that we will debut at GoodGuys Del Mar. Here are some specs and pics of the car.

Chromoly chassis, C4 drivetrain, LS1 with a cam and dual 4 barrel Holley carbs, T56 bolt directly to the C4 rearend. Car is under 1800 pounds with a 90 inch wheelbase. Motor is set back so far that the trans is bolted directly (NO DRIVESHAFT) to the rearend.

Just finished the custom wheel center caps and medallions a few days ago and got them on the car.

The Cheetah is a car on my bucket list. Nice to see a Chevy that's not a Camaro or Chevelle.

I love it. Cheetahs are such awesome cars.

I cannot believe the engine, transmission and rear end are all bolted to each other with no drive shaft. I think that is great.

NvrDun71 - It has torque thrust wheels on it. We just made custom center caps on them.
