Ok, first the Camaro is still running and running well so that is good! LoL!
Second, there seems to be a tad bit of slop in the rear when I let off the gas and I'm thinking that maybe a rod end has loosened up since it has happened before. Albeit the previous ones were the "economy" ones and I replaced them with the good ones from speedway. It's been several years and two larger turbos later, but I pulled the TQ arm and lo and behold the upper rod end has egg shaped. Any idea where I can get some higher quality ends than the ones I have? No, I don't have the PN from these since its been so long. Better yet, which rod ends should I be using for the upper TQ arm mount in a higher hp car?
thanks!

I just searched forever to buy quality USA rod ends for an affordable price. The JMX/ JMXL series rod ends from FK were it. the ones with 'T' at the end of the part number are Teflon lined, the 3/4 by 3/4 I got are almost 30,000lb rated and summit sells them cheaper then any one at 33 bucks each. The "quality" Chinese (if there is such thing) brand ones cost that much!

I believe Viking makes rod ends as well. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks guys. They are 5/8 right hand and can't remember the thread, but standard stuff, nothing special.

Anyone with a Camaro that uses the GM front spring mounts for their lower links needs to keep an eye on the bolts. Especially the right hand side. There are only 3 bolts, and only one of those bolts has a tight clearance to the mounting bracket to do the locating, so if the other two bolts are just a tiny bit loose, the bracket will start flexing and eventually crack.

Thanks guys, I'll check them out!

Thanks David, I'll check that out. I always look to see if the bolts are still tight, but never looked for cracks. What is the stress points there since I thought it's mainly a "locating point"? I don't claim or even think I know, just looked like a good place to use! LoL!
