I've been working with Scott from BigBrakeUpgrade.com in making a conversion bracket for the ford 9" new style big bearing rear end. This kit will bolt directly up (with axle removal) and allow for parking brake. I'm not affiliated or work for him in any way. I just began working with him in giving measurements, fitment etc. You can let him know Ahmad Sent you and he'll know your interested in the new style big bearing ford 9" . Scott is a great guy to deal with and will help you in any way.

Scott is offering this kit in two different ways . You can purchase everything to bolt up to your rear end brand new, calipers, parking brake, pads, rotors, brackets, brake lines etc. Directly from Scott Or you can just purchase the brackets and buy everything from a wrecking yard used.

I personally think this kit is a better solution to the c5/c6 brake set up. These are made to stop a 4000lb vehicle so you can imagine how well they will work for most cars in this site. I'm posting this because I thought others may be interested in the kit as well,if not buy what's best for you and your vehicle.

I'm also working with a machine shop in making the 5th gen calipers bolt up to the c5/c6 spindles. Once again, not a solution for everyone .

I attached pictures of a quick mock up on my rear end. I hope this helps other members with another brake option. Forgot to mention Scott can make these in billet. Obviously more money but a great looking piece.

For whatever reason the pictures keep rotating no matter what I do but you get the idea.

Thanks for your time.

The rotors are the same as the brake caliper which is 5th gen camaro with the center bore of the rotor machined larger according to the axle your using. There would be no pad hang over. The caliper is 5th gen camaro and so is the rotor.
