I have a G body Monte Carlo SS. A neighbor is backing out of his G body project. I have the chance to get his Belltech 2100 2" drop spindles. I do want to lower my car but I always thought that lowering springs was the way to go. Now that I have this option, is either better than the other? Thanks

Everything I've ever lowered, I used drop spindles. They keep all the suspension geometry correct so it will still drive and ride good. My dad tried putting lowering springs onto his truck when he got it and it drove terrible. He switched it to drop spindles and it drove like stock but had good stance. Just my opinion.

Drop spindles change you roll center, most of the time for the better. One thing to be aware of is steering arm interference with inner wheel shell.

The drop spindles also have more meat in the right areas for the cheap C5 disk conversion brackets, just drop spindles and tall upper and lower balljoints with IROC springs will REALLY improve the handling!

I will still be running the stock 15x7 SS wheels, should there be any clearance issues? Tall balljoints......any particular brand? IROC springs? I currently have the IROC 36mm front swaybar, but I have never heard about the springs. Anymore info on this setup?

Sorry not sure about clearance issues with the balljoints, I would highly doubt it but not 100% certain.
For tall ball joints I think you have two choices, Power Performance and Howe I went with the cheaper but obviously if you have the $...
As for the springs I just went with cheap Moog replacement IROC Convertible springs based on this chart: http://www.maliburacing.com/coilspring.htm you can see the ride height with these springs uncut and with a 1/3 of a coil cut off in my build thread.
I should mention this is by far the cheapest rout I know of, if you have more $ there are LOTS of better options!
