Vintage Trans-Am style chin spoilers and rear deck lid spoilers. . .

I wanted to start a thread separate from Ron Sutton's aerodynamics thread because I'm not really asking how to make something work better. . .right now I'm looking for information behind the front chin spoilers and rear decklid spoilers (I've heard them called duck-tail spoilers) used on most of the vintage ('67-72) Trans-Am race cars.

I know I've seen some articles posted before the specifically talked in detail about the '67/68 (maybe '69 as well???) Camaro's. . .

. . .does anyone have any links to old write-ups on this information???
