Are there any front brake and suspension kits or conversions out there that anyone knows about for a 63 thunderbird.
Thanks AJ

We made some custom C5/C6 brackets for the factory 1961-1963 T-bird spindles last year and might be able to help you out with the brakes depending on what you're looking for, size wheel you're running, budget, etc. If you update the suspension and run different spindles, then clearly the brake requirements would change as well, so it probably makes the most sense to figure out your suspension first, then brakes, then wheels and tires IMHO.

Interesting, I was curious about this as I just bought a 63 T-bird, and I see it's been asked... and not too long ago so I don't feel guilty bumping it. What have you made Tobin? I'm going to keep the stock spindle, and I'm not looking to go too radical since this won't be a hardcore pro-tourer (have too many other ones of those going on), so a more basic C5 setup would be fine, I just don't want 4 wheel drums.

15.5" C6 ZR1 carbon ceramics are the only thing we offer...J/K...the adapter components for this application should accept any C5 or C6(Z51/Z06/ZR1) brake kit, so the base level 325mm C5/C6 kits may be just what the doctor ordered in your case. We only have one of these kits in existence at this point and we're awaiting some feedback on the installation, but we'd be more than happy to discuss options with you if you like.

Thanks! Sounds great, update this thread as you know more. I've got time, I don't even have the car yet, I'm picking it up Saturday. I've got to sort some wiring out and get going on the bodywork, so I have around 6 months before I figure I need to get brakes figured out. 325mm would be perfect.
