I really don't want to use the Custom Autosound stuff and before I spend hours fabricating metal buckets for the vent holes for speakers, I am hoping that someone has come out with something that works. I see plenty of stuff for the F-Body cars and to be honest with you, I am going to puke with envy at some point here. Just looking for a leg up at some point.

Why would you use metal buckets...speakers will make the buckets resonate....unless you plan to cover it with CLD matting.
fiberglass resisn is way to go

.bit for my 72 lark

Here is what I did. No cutting. Vent still works.

I sent Roddoors on ebay some stock 72 kicks for him to use to make molds from, they turned out alright in terms of fit and finish. The plastic is a bit thin compared to stock but it's rigid and can be bulked up with sound deadener. I can't get on ebay at work without messing with a vpn but he might have or be willing to make some for your year as well.

Those are nice, if those work out for you, I would be interested in a pair for my 67.

That looks really nice and I'm seeing white, so now I need pictures of the outside of the car..
And btw, not sure if you noticed but it appears someone stole your clutch pedal.. :)

I would have considered making some for that model car but it's just slim a market for speaker kicks and this kind of stuff. I have made different fiberglass things in the past for the 2nd gen Camaro, and just came up with a mold for the 1st gen Camaro speaker kicks. People aren't just knocking down the door wanting this kind of stuff, I expected different for the 1st gen kicks...but not so the case.
So really the time and labor isn't worth it, and when your competing up against the abs speaker kicks at around $100 , people tend to choose those to save money...even though the custom stuff is more thought out and looks better.
