Hey all,

I`m currently working on the pedal setup for my 67 Pro Touring fastback with Roushcharged coyote 5L - I`ve set the motor back about 4.5" into the firewall and as a result I'm running a Kugel 90 degree power brake/clutch pedal setup. I've got them positioned to the similar location to where the factory clutch/brake pedals would be but it doesn't seem to have enough travel for the pedal setup (based on laying the pedals flat on the floor and checking for max travel) It seems as though the clutch needs 6 1/4" and the brake around 7" Do these numbers seem right? my next potential solution is to go about modifying the pedals to get some more travel but I thought I would quiz everyone here seen as how this is my first time fabb'g something like this (as opposed to stock bolt in stuff)

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

Also, totally not sure if this was the right sub forum to start this in?

Thanks for the help!

Could you just move the drivers position back? Its fairly easy if you are this deep into it.

6-7' of travel is about right: most non-power pedals have a ratio of about 6:1, and since most masters have about an inch of travel, that all matches up.

I wrote this article about such things a while back:
