I have a 68 camaro, I recently picked up the right stuff big brake kit to swap from 4 drums with 14" rims. I need at least 17" rims for this kit. The reason I bought the big brake kit is bc I got it cheaper then a standard disc brake kit and had to get new wheels anyways so it made sense. I eventually want to lower the car and drop in a crate engine. I want matte black mesh style rims, I know these are impossible to fit/find unless you spend big bucks on a set of forgeline (Id love to have but the budget doesn't work) my question is can you mount these 17" TSW Nurburgring wheels that have a 35mm offset and 5x120 bolt pattern by using a 1 1/4" or 1" wheel spacer/adapter and hub centric rings? Will a 8" wide wheel fit the front of my camaro w/o issue? If anyone has ideas of different rims or have done something like this input is much appreciated! I kinda want to stay away from TT2's I currently have them, I like them but they are everywhere.

Wheels for older 5 and 7 series BMW's usually fit without the need for spacers and have a little lip which might look better.

Do you know what year for those car or have a pic? Will the 5x120 fit the 5x4.75 no issue?

Lot of guys will go back and forth on issue, biggest issue is centering wheel, the difference per stud is only 0.013" but that can affect ride.
After what I have seen in all my years with unilug wheels, owner and idiot wanna be mechanics.
Honestly use some good hub centric adapter rings and you will be fine for general use.
Now if you are gonna race/autocross then I would redrill in 5x120 pattern and upgrade to good 1/2" studs or better.
And still use rings. Those center up wheels, the lugs hold the wheel on. And use good torque procedures. Torque wrench, retorque after initial first 25-50 miles. And after racing too. At least till you get good feel on if wheels are gonna loosen up.
Biggest issue is centering the wheel on axle.

I have TSW Valencia's on my Elco right now with hub centric rings and no issues. I also run ARP 3" wheel studs. I am ordering TSW Amaroo's for my Chevelle soon. Same length wheel studs, but got 1/2" on the rear.

Man those valencias look amazing! They were #2 on my rim list but I think they just edged over the Nurburgrings. Can you please tell me what size wheels, tires your running. Are you running just spacers with longer studs or adapters for the 5/5.75 to 5x120? What size hub centric rings are you running? Thanks for the info im really liking how they look mounted.

I went with the 18x9.5 with 255/45 fronts and 295/45 rears. These wheels were meant for my Chevelle, but didn't like them on there. The 9.5 fit nice under the Elco, the Chevelle needs a 10.5 rim. I have ARP 3" wheel studs and have custom billet 19mm (3/4") spacer being shipped right now for the rear. These wheels have 20mm offset which is about a 6" bs, they need moved outward a tad. The fronts fit fine.

Here they are on my Chevelle, rears needed more spacer so I changed my mind and am getting TSW Amaroo in flat black 10.5 with 27mm offset (6.81" bs). So the same 3/4" spacer will work here also.

They look badass! There were no issues with the 5x120 bolt pattern?

Like stated above, use hub centric rings to center the wheel before installing lugs. TSW wheels are 76mm wheel bore, our older GM cars are 70.3mm hub.

Well went to order the Valencia 17x8" but found out that the lip is 3" deep on 9.5 and the 8" rim is only a 1.5" lip and I don't like how the small lip looks on these wheels so I cancelled the order. I'm kinda glad it worked that way bc my eyes are still on the nurburgrings. I was thinking 17" but am
Now leaning towards 18"s. Can you guys suggest a safe wheel combo for my 68 with these wheels and your input on should go 17 vs 18. I Plan on lowering the car in the future. I'm not concerned about the offset as I can get adapters/spacers just wanna make sure the meats fit without rubbing.

Go with 18's. Tire choice will be limited with 19's and will get more limited by the year.

Those nurburgrings have no lip at all?

Right, but the Nurburgrings look great with no lip. The 1.5" lip looks out of place to me. Your size and lip looks great but I don't want to run That wide of a wheel up front. I'm still in the market but I think im going to pull the trigger on the nurburgings.

I am in the market for 18x9.5 TSW Valencia's for my 69 Camaro. Why cant 18x9.5 fit up front? I am willing to run a spacer on all 4 corners if need be. Please let me know. Thanks Ray
