UV protection on plastic headlights.

Just thought I would pass along a UV coating idea I have been using on my 07 Silverado headlights for a while now. Eastwood has developed a product called Elastiwrap which is a rubberized UV protective spray on coating that can be easily peeled off. It is available in all sorts of colors but I'm using the gloss clear on my headlights. Once you polish your cloudy headlights simply coat them with this product and they will stay clear indefinitely. If the coating becomes damaged you just peel it off and reapply it.

Have you hit that stuff with a high pressure sprayer like at a car wash? I am just curious about how it will hold up in that environment. Any pics of your headlights?
