Hey guys new guy here. Getting ready to start buying some parts and just wanted to know if anyone has used cpp c5 spindles? Suppose to accept c5 brakes and correct the suspension geometry. Going on my 1972 if I get them. I have searched and searched but have found nothing from people who have actually used them. Just wondering how they worked. Thanks.

This thread here has some discussion about the cpp c5 spindles. No one who has used them though.

I would recommend SPEEDTECH or SC&C for the best information concerning this topic.

I am assuming you are talking about a 1972 Camaro? The stock 2nd gen geometry is pretty good actually. There is zero reason to run a heavy cast iron spindle of questionable origin. Just use your stock spindles and get a brake bracket kit from kore3.com and call it done.

I initially went this route and now I'm trying to find someone to buy the setup. I will recommend 2 things.
1. Call Mark at SC&C - I waited and I wasted some $$ like you are about to do. He takes his time explaining things and you will learn something.
2. Call Tobin at Kore3 - He has everything you need to upgrade your brakes using stock spindles.
Both of these guy are super knowledgeable and great to deal with.
