Started a SBC to BBC swap last winter. Picked up a 572ci from Skip White. Ive got the motor, headers, ignition and all the bolt ons. Still need hoses for heater, radiator and steering (braided). Still need to install electric fuel pump, radiator/fan kit from entropy.
Most of the parts are bought but still a couple of big ones left 3" exhaust and a new hood are probably the bigest but my budget is gone for now. I really dont want to start to throw ****ty parts in it just to finish.
Its just gonna suck to be without it all year.

I know the feeling, just take your time and do it correct the first time!

Life has done nothing but kick me in the junk since the first of the year. What I thought was going to be a driving car in early June might not happen till much much later in the year. In Seattle thats devastating. We get a really short window of nice weather and then its back to the constant rain. Its depressing! But 2016 though.....look out! :/

Im trying to not get overwhelmed myself. I have wiring and some body work left I the engine compartment. It would be to easy to "half fast" it right now....

Restorations or Builds always take longer than expected. Just keep getting at it steady and it will be done!

Ugh, I know the feeling. Hang in there! I've barely done anything fun with my Trans Am in the last three years (2012-2014.) It's almost back though, even though not greatly upgraded.

Been there since I got my car. Always think it will be done. but something happens and doesn't. But hell it is drivable and runs good. who cares what anyone thinks.

You get used to it after 10 years.
