im calling on a 67 camaro ex drag car in the morning. if its still there and sounds ok im going to go look at it. says its got a ladder bar set up and a roll bar, not sure what this means, cage or bar. 12 bolt with 4.88 gears and a fiberglass front end. is there any thing in particular i should look at with it being an ex race car other then the regular points. no motor, but does have a powerglide. if gotten id probally turn it back into a race car. thanks

Check to see when it was liceneced last(for the track)... Depending on the last year, it could be way out of wack to qualify for its licencence tomorrow. This will also depend on how fast you want to run.

that had come to mind. is that just a chasis and cage cert? how difficult is/would it be to get recertified? obviously depending on condition.

I believe its both cage and chassis. Don't quote me but in the faster classes, material specs have changed.

I'm not up to par on it so I can only give so much of my pretty limited information.

i would check on cerifaction(how fast the car is legal to),craftsmanship, wear and tear, ladder bars are pretty out dated, just about everything is 4 link now.was the car consitant before, did it drive straight.just a few things.
