Hello all! I am Kane, and I have a 1981 Trans Am. i was given it when i married my wife 2 years ago. her father had it 10 years before me and it was pretty much garage kept. currently it has the 6.6l 400 ci v8. both motor and car have 40,xxx miles on them. the donor motor came from a car that was off by 5 miles from our body. I finally got the time together to get it running and it purrs. anyway i have always been fascinated with classic cars and the protouring set ups. I would love to turn this into a pro touring car i can rip around sebring, or road atlanta in. (along with other tracks and autocrosses) i am here to learn as much as possible as i embark upon my journey.

Also shameless plug. I do Automotive photography in the Central Florida Area.

Kane, I also live in Orlando and I have a 77 trans am. I would be more than willing to help with any projects or advice. I have been learning and researching pro touring my ride for quite a few years and have done a ton of work on my car and could help point you in the right direction. We could definitely get together sometime or just help with any advice. Welcome to the family!
