Is there a better place to purchase these wheels other than just pricing them online? Do we have a vendor on this site that reps these wheels? Any direction would be appreciated.

So. American Republic took over the Boyd brand a few years back. Hotrods by Boyd wheels was supposedly being sued by American Republic for infringing on "their" brand, since they took over the Boyd wheels. Long story short, AR recommended that I do not purchase Hotrods by Boyd wheels since they've been a bit sketchy. So check out American Republics wheels.. and let me know what styles & sizes you both want & i'll get a quote together for you. Usually they run about 7-9 weeks lead time FYI.

I had a look at American Republic and maybe i'm too picky but nothing really jumped out at me... i was thinking of going down the TSW route with adapters but now i'm having second thoughts about using adapters soooo... the only wheels i like and and can justify the cost are either rushforth or hot rods by boyd....

Have you looked at American Racing and Foose? Both have custom programs that you can get any backspacing and such.. and usually they're a bit cheaper.

Well damn. I am looking for something like the HR-01 by Boyds and the other two don't have anything similar.

i agree... HR01s or HR74s in 18x8 and 18x9 would be just perfect

Dale, Have you heard any more on Hot Rods By Boyd which appears to be ran by Chris Coddington? I really like their HR99 wheels.

I looked at the civil case which looks like it was between American Republic and Boyd Lee Coddington (vs. Chris Coddington who runs Hot Rods by Boyd). It also looks like the lawsuit was settled in June (American Republic was awarded $500K in damages). Here's the case http://www.leagle.com/decision/In%20FDCO%2020150630C09/AMERICAN%20REPUBLIC%20WHEELS,%20INC.%20v.%20CODDIN GTON
