i am looking for a LSx set up for my 76 TA project.

LSx t56 dropouts on eBay and Craigslist are getting up there in price.

I am starting to think it may be better to piece so ring together. I don't want to spend countless hours and dollars hunting down all the parts though.

Like to hear everyone's thoughts.

My goal is a mild LS and I want to twin turbo it with a 6sp

Start with a truck block, 5.3 or 6.0 cast iron motor. Cheaper, and it'll take boost just fine.

If you decide you might want to go N/A, I have an aluminum LS1 out of a 2002 Camaro SS with 243 heads cleaned up by TEA, a mild cam, new springs, and comp trunion upgrade, LS7 lifters and new push rods, and a melling oil pump. The entire valve train has about 20 miles of run time on it. The rotating assembly is the original pieces. Im pretty sure it has a spun #1 rod bearing, but everything else is quite solid. Im looking to get rid of it relatively cheaply so if its something you think you might be interested in, feel free to message me, or give me a call/text. 585-746-9022. Greg
