Okay so I have a 6.2 out of a 07 Denali that will be mated to a t56 magnum and as I get closer to installing it into the car I keep asking myself should I really just drop a junkyard pull motor with 90k on the clock into my car that I'm building to be my reliable daily driver? Would it make more sense to pay someone to go through the motor for me to just check it out and possibly swap a cam to delete the VVT?
I'd like a reliable 500 plus hp motor with good street manners so any recommendations for a cam will also be good or should I just install it and upgrade later?
