Been lurking for awhile, just joined. Have a 73 challenger that I am resto-modding into a pro touring style build. Its a base 318, 3 speed manual, power steering, manual brakes. Previous owner painted it sublime and put on a set of glasspacks, other than that it's bone stock. I bought it about a year ago now, here's what I started with:

Got her road worthy by rebuilding the carb, replacing the head gasket, new belts, new water pump, new gas tank, added some new tires, black steelies, and a new rt hood.

It's currently in the body shop getting all the rust repair fixed. Lower quarters on both sides cut out and patched, rear window removed and channel patched. Also shaving the sidemarkers, fender mounted turn signals, antenna, recessing bumpers smoothing them out and painting body color, smooth rear valance. Adding a T/A style ducktail spoiler and rear window louvers.
Suspension is stock for now, within the next few winters I will be going with Hotchkis TVS kit, 18" wheels, rear spring relocation to fit 315 tires, possibly 335s, hydroboost and wilwood disc brakes all around.
I have a 440 at the machine shop now being built into a 512 stroker motor. Will have aluminum heads, water pump, intake, etc. to get the weight close to the same as the small block. Also to help save some weight, going with an aluminum radiator, relocating the battery to the trunk and installing fiberglass bumpers and fabricating aluminum brackets. Also have a 4 speed with a pistol grip that will be rebuilt and installed with the big block.
Interior will be replacing the seats with either Corbeau CR1 or Recaro Toplines in black leather/suede. Will have the rear seat re-foamed and upholstered to match the fronts. New grant steering wheel, new gauges, replacing carpet and headliner.
I'm sure I'm missing a bunch, but that's my plan so far.
