Well, I signed up a few years back. I'm not even sure why(probably to see pix of something). Anyhoo, I am a Buick guy, but enjoy pretty much all makes n models. I followed a link from one of my friends from way back, racerxtx. He is building a nifty SunCoupe he dubbed bu-trick.
I have a 1970 GS455 I bought a long time ago(It was/is my first car, bought in 1985). I also have a 1987 Buick Regal WE4 that i bought new(Yeah, my first new car).
Each have been raced and driven daily over the years. As time marched on I acquired a wife(maybe she acquired me, all about the perspective) and we produced children so a lot of the "fun" car type activities stopped and I chased the almighty dollar. Now that two of em are out of high school, one is mid way through and the youngest will enter jr high in the fall, I find myself with much more time to do the fun car type activities from my youth, instead of a steady diet of youth sports, school activities and general family activities that dominated my/our time.

That's the same guy as the little one with the shovel in the above pic. They grow up fast.
I'm a diy kinda guy. Ive assembled several engines, and do my own vehicle maintenance on our dd vehicles. Recently I assembled a 2004r for the Regal. Without the interwebz, that wouldnt have been possible or at least I wouldnt have attempted it.
Great stuff here I hope I am able to make a meaningful contribution.
