Since my first post got deleted when the server went down. Here it is again to plug the great work Kris did.

Kris Horton did some renderings of what my 69 Camaro will look like. It took 4 weeks of back and forth e-mails to get the car to look the way I wanted.

The car in real life will look alot like this.
Details:
C5 corvette front suspension, Wayne Due subframe
DSE 4-link
18x12 18x9 DPE Wheels with Titanium Asphalt Center
LS1 427 twin turbo
T56 or Auto w/shrifter (undecided yet)

Silver with Dark Silver Stripes
various body mods some noticable others real subtle change.

Wheels are www.dpengineering.cc they are the R05 with a Titanium Asphalt Center the stripes are going to match the wheel centers.

Anyone looking for a set of 3-piece HRE, Iforge, Intro should look into DPE wheels. The are a great company to deal with.

Naming a car is the thing to do now adays so I have named it "Sinister"

simply beautifull. Do you have a timeline set out for this build?

I like what is being done towards the bottom of the car. It really helps to fill out the stance. Not sure how exactly I feel about the color combination but regardless this will be one nice Camaro.

I LOVE the white and grey. I think they will look really nice together...and original too. I can't say I have seen too many of anything with that combination.

As I said in the other post. Beautiful car. I really like the door handles.
Good luck with that gas cap location if you plan on making it functional. I was planning that for a long time and recently decided there really is no way with the way im running a fuel cell. It will be trick if you get it to work.
The rear spoiler is really nice too. I think its similar to TitoJones. If he ever produces them in time I want one.
Good choice on the name too.

Looks great. The color combo, wheels and body mods really work well together. Is the front spoiler custom? Or does it just look that way in the rendering?

My time line is set up in Phases.

Phase 1: Strip car and media blast.

Phase 2: Drive car to Wayne Due for chassis work.

Phase 3: Body Mods and Body work (undercarrige painted)

Phase 4: Complete assembly of car (rolling, brake, steer, everything except install interior and make it run.

Phase 5: Complete dissassembly

Phase 6: Paint Body and get all other parts powder coated

Phase 7: Start assembly

Phase 8: Start it up.

As far as a date not too sure I'd like to get 90% done by this time 2006

Door handles hopefully won't look out of place.
The gas cap will be in that location I have it all figured out it won't be exactly like the rendering though, The rendering makes it kind look like its just bolted to the tail panel, in real life it will be a bit recessed so it is flush with the tail panel, it will look more original equipment that way.

The spoiler is LIKE Tito's and the Hot Rod Camaro but it will be noticeably different. I'm not going to use a corvette brake light; it’s too small and looks out of place.

I have the short block narrowed down to a LME, Combination Motorsports or a Wheel 2 Wheel short block.
I have a set of AFR 225's and FAST 90mm Intake and Throttle body.

The Twins will be a custom kit with intercooler.

I think that the Color combo, wheels and body mods are what makes this car.

The wheels have been giving me a bit of a headache today though.
DPE just came out with a new finish called Liquid Cinder, and I'm not sure if I should get the wheels in this finish or the Titanium Asphalt.
I attached pics below. 1st pic is Titanium, 2nd is Liquid Cinder

The guys at DPE have been really great to me, they told me I have some time to decide since they are still waiting on my hoops. I hope to see more of there wheels on Domestic cars other than the euro market that seems to use their wheels.

The front spoiler is a factory spoiler but it will have a cage built behind it to stiffen it up so that its more solid so it won't flex, Hopefully it will make it more functional.

I vote for Liquid Cinder. It has more "depth" and is more rich IMO.

That should be a pretty nice Camaro. It'll look great to see it in the flesh...err... I mean steel. Haven't seen a lot of white ones. Hey nice ATS spoiler in the back.

Technically, this is a replacement thread, since the original one was lost.
Looks good btw, good job Kris. I love the new style.
Robert, great looking car, and being old school I love the 427 emblems.

Clean up complete.

Lets not try to automaticly infer sarcasm. Keep this thread on topic. off topic posts will be removed.

The renderings are awsome. Kris is an amazing talent. Kudos on having him bring your vision to life in virtual reality. Now bring that sucker to life!

That is tough call Bob........I like the Titanium but it depends the look your after! the liquid cinder would be easier to match you stripes too!

Are you going to have a custom gas tank and have the exhaust run on each side of it? Are you going to run a fuel cell? I mocked up my fuel cell last night and there is absolutely no way I can have a gas cap like that with the exaust I am going to run. Unless I had a gas tank made or made my own. Thats awesome if you have it all figured out. Unfortunately for me, it is not an option any more. I really wanted one bad but im too stubborn about my viper exhaust set up.
We can discuss this via PM too.
