Now I can finally get to work..

Now I have to pick a camshaft.. nothing bigger than a 236.. oh, and give the heads the stage II treatment. Later down the line she will get forged internals and AFR heads.
Got to track down a starter, PS pump, alt and all those goodies..

Great news Steve! You going to run a T56 this time?
Smaller than a 236 cam? How about a 233/239 112? It will sound like this: http://www.adfabdesign.com/Videos/Ryan%20Rear.mpg
I say do the AFR's that's my "down the road" mod once I get the car sorted out.

Steve I just looking thru the Nov 05 Super Chevy Mag.
I noticed both your car were in the mag. Page 60 has the Z069 in the unisteer ad. Penny is on page 98 on the Fat Man ad.

Yea, kind of funny huh?
Both were gotten off my website. The Unisteer one was before I worked here. Neither know where I work. I look at it as a compliment so I don't mind.
The '69 is also in the front part of the new Global West catalog and I think they used it for a T-Shirt but they might of changed the color of the car (on the shirt).
I have to be a bit wary since I have certain work rules to stay within but it is fun.

How many blocks did the mailman walk carrying that thing? lol. Are you going to wait on the new sub before you install it?

Cool. I guess the guys that bought your original drivetrain stuff earlier this year were patient enough to wait till you were ready to make the swap.

Actually, its commonly known that Stage 1 ported heads use factory valve seats, and typically factory valve guides. Max intake valve would be a 2.02, exhaust 1.55
Stage 2 ported heads typically have the factory valve seats machined out and replaced with larger diameter ones, and different valve guides pressed in. This allows a 2.055 intake and a 1.60 exhaust (most common)
