With the local autocross coming up in March, and the bushings in my 79 z28 being 35 years old, I have decided it's time to purchase some new upper A-arms, but what brand should I buy?

I've been looking at Hotchkis and Custom Works Performance, but I would like to get everyones input, and opinions before I commit.

Thank you!

Global have been out a long time and pretty nice pieces(they have lighter drag versions also. ProTouring F body are decent but some folks have delivery issues with Dave.

Lots of great vendors to buy from on this forum, and plenty of vendors to help you plan out your car. Spend some time, search around and see what companies product will suit your needs and is constructed with quality components here in the USA. With those criteria, it's hard to make a bad pick.

I just ordered DSE on Sunday.

My reasons were they are proven. Tig welded. The caster adjustment is nicer than shims. They race all year and if they find some new design works they bring it to production.

I looked at them all and decided it was worth the money.

Ooofff DSE is expensive. Sure looks nice though!

Does anyone know much about Pro Touring F-Body?

I have front and rear GT springs from Pro Touring F-Body. Call up Dave and talk to him about when you're trying to accomplish. Some people have had to wait a while for parts to ship, but my stuff shipped right away. Maybe just ask if everything is in stock before you order, if you're in a rush situation.

I got my arms the other day.

They are really nice the caster blocks are nice. The cross shafts are pinned so the nut can't come off. Moog ball joints.

I looked at the ptfb stuff and the cost savings was not worth the quality and R&D that dse puts into their stuff.
