I'm looking at bfgoodrich tires for autocross. What are you ideas?

What kind of autocrossing? If you need 200 treadwear or higher, then BFG Rivals. Otherwise R1's

Looking to get to k n ow some gen 3 camaro racers

Depends on what wheel you're running. BFG does not make the Rival's in a size that fits the original 16 inch wheel (245/50/16) or even in a size that would fit the 17X9 (275/40/17) you could move up to.
For 200 treadwear (good for CAM if you're going SCCA) I have been stuck with pretty much a choice of Nitto NT05's or Falken RT-615K's.
I like the Falken's better but they cost more as well.
