Decided to get a thread started for my project car it's a 1976 bb camaro with a 305 sb chevy. I know these cars aren't the prettiest things but I'm definitely going to fix that. I'm a die hard Ford guy and I would prefer to build a fastback mustang but this car was my moms car that she got in high school so it has more sentimental value to it and that's why I'm going to use it. It's a pretty solid car other than the rear quarters and the floor but those will be addressed when the body is completely changed so far I have been pulling pictures from all over the web of cars with similar body mods I want to do. My plans are to run the 305 in it with new heads, intake and carb just having a good running car with a little more power than stock until I can find an LS engine to put in it. I'm going to be building tubular control arms for the front with lowering coil over springs and I'm going to run lowering springs in the back till I can get a ford 9" to cut up for a 4 link setup out back.so I guess on to pictures!!

This is the car I'm using

As for the body mods I'm going to pull the front bumper off and lower valance and mate a 70-73 split bumper valance on. That means I will have to chop the angle off of the top section of the front to flatten it out similar to the 70-73 cars. I will also build, out of metal, a lower chin spoiler with splitter to have the front end of the car even lower to the ground. I will also chop two holes in the hood that scoop in to extract heat. Basically I want the front end to look like this car.

I will also be lowering the rockers with a scoop in the rear like this ring brothers car.

As for the rear end the big bumper is going (sorry guys I HATE these bumpers) and I will add a belly pan and a rear diffuser with round exhaust holes exiting through it similar to this tt firebird. I will also install a 69 camaro bumper upside down to fill in the gap.

I will also chop the center section of the ducktail spoiler down like that firebird but mine will be a lot wider.
For wheels I'm going with vision 143 wheels in 18x8.5 in the front and 20x9.5 in the back

But I'm going to paint the chrome lip gloss black and then wrap them with 245 45 18 and 275 35 20 tires.
For paint I'm going with matte white (reason for it's name being sno-bliz) with a gray offset stripe that matches the center color of the wheels with a gloss black strip inside with red pin striping around it. The stripe will be offset to the drivers side from the front widening towards the top of the hood double the width of the stripe. It will then be two stripes width on the roof switching over to the passenger side when it gets on the trunk lid.
Similar colors to this sexy car.

Oh and the biggest detail of this is we're going to try to keep it at a $5,000 budget like Ron's mustang lol!!!

As I think of other details I will post them.
