I'd like these depending on the manufacture. Who made them and what part number are they?

After doing an image search, it appears they are Western Chassis stock number 131001. If this is correct, I'd like them.

Well, the spindles arrived. I painted them with a black epoxy and when I went to install, my ball joints did not fit. I did a little research and found out that the 71-72 ball joints were smaller. I ordered a set of those and, sure enough, they fit. So this part was not for a 63-70. I have contacted the seller and he is unwilling to give me any sort of refund to help cover the cost of the new ball joints. The 71-72 ball joints are much more expensive, $120 total from my local parts guy, and I also have the other new ball joints but since they were installed I can not return them. So I have $140 ball joints that don't work with the spindles, and have to spend $260 to purchase the correct ones. I have copies of all of our messages and will be contacting a moderator regarding this seller, and I hope others may be aware of the situation as well.

Just a heads up for others looking to purchase from him.

Didn't the seller give you the part number before you purchased, I'd think it was your responsibility to verify fitment before purchase. I know that's what I do, not so sure id blame the seller.

He did give me the part number, it's right in this thread, and it is the model number for the 63-70 Chevy pickups. However, it is not the same part number as the spindle that was sold me. He sold me the spindle for a 71-72 Chevy pickup. The ball joints are different.

Not sure how you expect me to verify fitment without having them item. It says in the thread title 63-70 drop spindles, the part number is for 63-70 drop spindles, I don't think I could have done much else prior to purchase. Here is a link to an Ebay auction (not his or mine) for the same spindle number he listed, clearly stated as 63-70.

Once again, the spindles DO NOT fit 63-70, they are for the 71-72's which had smaller ball joints. The ball joints on the '68 I purchased them for do not seat fully due to there larger size.

He has started to work with me since I posted, we will see how it turns out.

Not to choose sides at all but part number 131001 on western chassis' website has many options for many years, while the number stays the same. I am hoping it works out for you mitch 04.

I have noticed that and if it were sold as that part number only I would have understood the mistake, but the thread title does clearly state 63-70.

I asked for $60, half the $120 difference in ball joint cost. He refuses to pay, so now I will be disputing the purchase through PayPal.
