I read on another site Tom Lee is retiring and selling the business... Who do we get decent steering boxes from now and please don't say AGR...

Thoughts?

We sell the Delphi 670 kit, brand new, complete with rag joint and adapter fittings for $599.

For those desiring fancier, ratio changes, etc I have been recommending Turn One.

who is to say that anything other than the speed of service will change at LEE. I doubt Tom has put a box together him self in years.

Tom told me that a month or so ago, but I just spoke to him a week ago. Didn't sound like things were going to stop there.

Glad to hear they are staying in business...

I like the 12 to 1 I have in my Bonneville. Tom took time with me on the phone to find the correct drill size to open the pumps pressure valve up and how to shim the valve even thought I bought it through another vender...

I don't know what box is in my 2001 Chevy 3500 work truck but it seems like it would be great box for a car...

This has been a long time coming. Tom and Gail really deserve to get some quality retirement time in. They asked us to stop taking new orders Dec. 31. As of last week they`re still looking for a buyer. We hope they`ll be able to find someone to carry on their tradition and continue that steering voodoo that they do so well (channeling Harvey Korman in Blazing Saddles). That said we felt we needed to have a backup plan. After a lot of research and talking to several companies we decided on Turn One as a new supplier. They`re building boxes to order for us, from new Delphi components, with proper application steering stops and street valving. We`ve been very pleased with them so far. If Lee is able to pass the torch (here`s hoping!), then our clients will have two great choices.
