Finally Picked the official orange for Mustang and Camaro!

FInally!! I want to thank all the members that helped with this difficult decision. Thanks for all the pics, links, phone numbers......
The official orange for the entire Mustang and the stripe on the camaro is going to be
Sunset Pearl Orange by House of Kolor. :woot: :woot:
We are going down tonight to order at least a quart that we can play around with. They are just going to refund our money for the other orange. :)

Hey Adam,
That orange is beautiful isn't it? I got some pics of that 'vert '37 at Kalamazoo a couple of weeks ago and it has me leaning to that color scheme for Bad Ast only I am thinking a very dark/pearl/candy purple instead of black. Something that the true color only shows on the highlights...

We will be painting both cars for sure next year.
We ordered a quart of the HOK Sunset pearl orange yesterday. It will be in today and I will mess with the quart on an old hood some time soon to see how we like it. We are sooo excited!!! :yeah: :yeah:
I have some pearl orange and pearl silver that I will mess around with in the clear coat.
Mark I like the idea of the dark purple. Thats gonna be a killer paint job when you finish it.

Great choice! My personal favorite is PPG liquid metal bright orange. It's similar to the HOK color, but it glows more in the sunlight. Only problem is you can't touch up rock chips very well.

Oh yeah speaking of girlfriend. I wanted to mention that every car we paint from now on will have paint from one of the previous cars.
-Girlfriends Orange 67 Mustang coupe--Orange stripe on my 69 Camaro.
-Girlfriends (place color here) 67 Mustang Fastback--(place color here) from my 69 camaro.

I wont announce what is going on our 67 fastback yet because I have to keep some secrets. And we are still working on the 67 coupe so it will be a little while. However we do have a paint scheme already laid out for the 67 Fastback. :secret:
