Good morning,

Does anyone have a good lead on extended length lower control arms for a 2nd gen F-Body? I ordered some stuff from a popular circle track company, that turned out not to work in even the slightest way at all. I've seen measurements from 15.5-17 for stock length, looking to widen the track by around 1'' each with the factory subframe mounts.

I will also be on coilovers.

Just looking to see if I have any off the shelf options.

Thanks.

I haven't found any off the shelf longer arms out there for 2nd gen F-bodies. There are a few guys in CP that run longer lower arms, but I think they are all custom made, so you may have to go that route

On a side note, I have the 17" Howe tubular lower arms on my CP 81 Camaro, they are the same length as the stock a-arms.

Yeah my car is at Todd Farris's shop at the moment, if you're in the CP crowd you know Todd. We were also quite let down with the stuff from Howe, which has me in this dilemma.

I'm on the cusp of just saying [explicative] and making a set of extended LCA's but I'd rather just have an off the shelf solution.

Well, your car is at a good shop with Todd. I wish there was an off the shelf solution as I am looking into this down the road a bit for my car. When that time comes I will probably just make a set as well.

From what I've gathered so far today looks like I'll just be running up to College Station after work one evening and making a jig. :-/

Right now I live in Katy, but I'm moving to the Tomball/Woodlands area soon.

Still trying to figure out what to do about an LCA. Lately I just work all the time.
