I recently bought a LT1 T-56 car to steal everything to do the swap for my camaro. The camaro has a 327 in it which if i'm not mistaken is externally balanced. Being so what do I need to do about getting a externally ballanced flywheel for it??

Thanks,

Derek

Mistaken....... Its internally balanced and all other parts require a 'zero balance'.

Give us a call, as we might still be able to get you in on the GP pricing for just a flywheel. Its a McLeod unit made just for that swap.

If its internally balanced can I not just use the LT1 flywheel that I have if it is turned and balanced?? Or is a new one required, I plan on ordering a firewall bracket and crossmember soon as well as getting my master modified to be adjustible as you say.

The issue with the flywheels is the 1 pc rear main seal on the LT1 block, vs the 2 pc rear main seal on the 327.
You'll need McLeod PN 460370 to get it to work.

Never a problem. That's why we are here.
Let us know if you want to order it, we are a McLeod dealer and can get you a better price than Summit Racing.
