I placed an order for 4 275/40/17 Falkins Azenis RT615 from Summit in the end of November. I just got an email saying they can't get them from the manufacturer anymore and have to cancel my order. Yet they are still listed on Falkins site. I got a great deal on them so this kind of aggravates me. What's the deal with 275/40/17 now?Now if I want some nice tires I'm going to have to pay a bit more

I bought two sets of that exact same tire from Discount Tire last year... First set I had the local store order in for me and the second set I found online at Discounttiredirect.com. I just checked and they show 17 in stock at 3 different stores for $776 delivered to your house. Pretty dern good price for a great tire if you ask me.

I paid less then $700. Summit priced matched discount tire who had a thanksgiving sale and I had a $50 off Summit coupon. I'm also wondering about date. If they quit making them how old are the ones in stock

What makes you think they are going to quit making them?

That's what Summit told me and the reason they can't ship them. Yet I just called Falkin and while they wouldn't give me an exact number they did say they had more the 4 and less then 100 in stock ready to ship. Not sure what's up here.

Lmao. Summit gets there tires from Discount Tire and both Falkin and Discount Tire have them in stock. Yet Summit says they can't get them even though they called and verified both places have stock. Confusing and aggravating at the same time

Summit didn't want to lose money on the order it sounds like...

For what it's worth, $776 delivered on them is a VERY good deal, well worth every penny. They will completely change the way your car sticks in a corner.

Vulcan tire also has them for about $830 shipped, take away your $50 Summit coupon and you're back around $780 delivered.

I had a buddy call Summit and they said they can drop ship with in a week. So I called back for a 4th time and after about 30 min the guy got it figured out. I guess they where using the wrong number on there end and it showed as discontinued. I guess it was easer for them to cancel my order vs look into the problem. Glad that last guy figured out lol

They probably had the older Rt-615s in the system. There was a new version that came out maybe 2 years ago?

The past couple of tire purchases I have made were through EBay from discount tire direct. I got them in 2 days. They have free shipping. I bought a set of falkens RT-615k for my car and am happy so far. After you buy them on EBay, you can call their customer service and buy the certificates if you want them.

DTD has them online today at $194 each - not sure of how many they have in stock.
