After some soul searching, I've decided to go with a 5 speed for my '80 Malibu instead of my beloved Muncie. That being said, I'm looking to sell the trans, hydraulic release bearing, backup light switch/linkage & harness extension.
Details:
The Muncie is a 68 M21. Date stamp P8T21-Dec 21, 1968.
Stamping by passenger side mid plate 38M252310 (possibly originally in an Oldsmobile)
10T, one ring input shaft.
Body castiing #3925660
Sidecover casting #3884685 ("584" stud type)
Tailshaft casting #3857584GM
Passenger side speedo output
27 spline tail shaft
Ran smooth and quiet when it came out of my Chevelle.
Asking $700.00
Hydraulic release bearing is a brand new McLeod 1300-1 Muncie bolt on style.
Asking $300.00
The back up light switch & linkage are all brand new repops for Corvette C3. The extension harness *should* be a direct plug in to the harness under the dash on a 78-80 G body, but I've never actually looked at it yet. Splicing shouldn't be a problem if not.
Asking $ $65.00
I would prefer local pickup on the trans just due to the weight and packing logistics.
