I'm looking to get the best Pro Touring suspension for my 69 Chevelle I'm looking for a superb handling autocross capability without sacrificing the smooth ride on the street . I looked at almost every suspension company out there that makes the suspension for a bodies: Hotchkis ,umi , global west, Detroit speed Speedtech, BMR etc...I'm really looking for the best of the best without having to spend 20k or more on a prefabricated chassies like art Morrison or street rod garage( even though I would very much like to)
out of all the companies I've looked at I landed on sc&c AFX performance package or the level 3 Ridetech package.
regardless of which way I go I plan on using the Fays2 watts link and Flaming River power rack & pinion
can anybody shed some light on this decision making process does anybody have experience with either of these or have a suggestion of something or someone better for according to my application?
for drive train I'm going with a 600 plus horsepower ls2 backed by 6 speed tranny.
any and all input or suggestions is highly appreciated I have to make this decision this week thanks guys

I will say that all of the Companies listed make good parts. However, how competitive do you want to be A/Xing? The reason I ask, is you can go to suspension components with Spherical Bearings or Rod Ends which will perform like magic on the Track but will transmit NVH on the Street.
As a Racer/Autocrosser, I know you can go Suspension with Racer Parts & you can do well Or you can go Poly Bushings and have fun.

I looked at the speed tech link and I've seen the road assault package before it just doesn't look like anything special to me.
but I'm willing to hear you out if you have time to explain the advantages over sc&c or Ridetech

I'll probably be doing 70% Street and 30% autocross with my car but with that being said just because I'm going to spend most my time on the street doesn't mean that I don't want my car to be a serious handling car I want it to be a real serious Corner carving machine but I also want to smooth right on the street and not feel like I'm ridin stiff

I'm in the same boat, air ride or coilovers. I want an adjustable suspension without the hassle of air, although air ride is fun. My car will be 70% street, 30% track.... Subscribed

I just switched to a ridetech level 2 from a full sc&c stage 2+ and prefer the ridetech in every way. Only issue is the rear bags interfered with my exhaust and when I relocated the exhaust it interfered with the rear swaybar but that can be overcome. The handling is the same or better than the sc&c but the ride is much better. The air is a bit of a hassle to set up but once done it is seamless.

I would be more than happy to spend the time on the phone if would like as there is a lot of info to cover.
feel free to tell me what you think the SC&C or Ridetech has over the Speedtech kit??
if you look at the centerpiece of the SC&C kit is it OUR AFX spindle?? we can also supply a TRUE coil over conversion front and rear. just to list a couple.
