Having a fast car is cool, but its not legal to go any faster than 75, and that's on a freeway.
I'm starting to see why people do bling, and not go-fast parts. I come from a go-fast, plane jane outside looking car.
So, I've started to think. Uh oh! There I go again. :) Anyway, I'm a huge car fanatic. Any kind of car, almost. Exotics, muscle cars, pro-touring, road racing cars, some imports, drifters, drag cars, vw's, rods...Ask my wife and she'll tell you that each week I'm into a different car and wanting to do a different project.
My first car was a '72 VW Bug that my dad and I fixed up, painted, body work, semi-engine rebuild, etc. I sold that to get married, and 2 years later got my 2nd car, a '95 Honda Civic. I put springs/shocks, shifter, intake, highflow cat, muffler, wheels/tires and washed and waxed it to death. I had that for 3 years and traded it for a '94 Mustang GT, my current car. It has header, h pipe, catback, pullies, gears, wheels/tires, ram-air with K/N (dad's homemade stuff). I love the V8 and rear wheel drive.
This week, I'm into VW's, real low, kind of ratty, like these: www.hoodride.com (http://www.hoodride.com)
Anyway, my ultimate car goal is turning more into totally restoring and building a car, I don't even care what it is, but it has to be old and different, but still turn heads, instead of having the fastest, best handling car around. Something that shows who I am and what I like.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Any ideas or comments from your experienes. Does anybody think this way.
