I called up Ridetech yesterday afternoon, and spoke with a very kind gentleman named Josh, who was very patient and helpful, talking with me about car stuff even beyond quittin' time. As enjoyable as that was, the answer to my query was decidedly disappointing: Ridetech's StrongArms will not work on my '72 Mach 1. I want to keep my Mustang's front subframe and shock towers intact and use the original front suspension attachment points (relocating upper control arm cross shaft holes would be fine). While I was aware already that Ridetech doesn't advertise these as compatible with '71-'73 Mustangs, I'd hoped there might be some hack that would allow me to work it out.
Anyone have any suggestions for a Plan B compatible with my aforementioned, self-imposed constraint?
