Exhaust fitment

I want to lower my 67 Camaro, but the exhaust pipes are a problem.
Some tips to fit them better under the carriage to reduce the encumbrance ?

I built a trans cross member with tubes in it for the exhaust to run through so it doesn't hang so low at the front. I've seen headers with flat collectors to help as well. And if you wanted to you could build an exhaust out of oval pipe.

I think that short weed burner exhaust pipes are the best solution
