I just received some brand new z06 calipers in silver with the corvette logo in red, while wet sanding the red off I sanded through to bare aluminum in a spot, does anyone know what paint GM uses on the calipers? I'm thinking that they might get too hot for a single stage urethane. Has anyone tried a ss urethane on high perf calipers?
