Details
1. 1997 2 liter WRX STI drive train (JDM). The odometer on the cluster shows 60,000.
a. Holley laptop programmable computer allows control of boost and timing. Nudging those up a bit bumped the horsepower from 300 to north of 350.
b. Programed for race gas now but can also be programed for E85 or 91 Octane
c. Camaro 16 gallon poly fuel tank with integral fuel pump.
d. 5 speed tranny with posi rear end.
e. 4 wheel power assist disc brakes with front to rear bias adjustment. Non ABS.
2. 1 ½” dia .093 wall custom made tubular space frame.
3. Poly-form fiberglass 1927 Ford Track T body with DuVall windshield, Rootleib hood, and custom Kurtis nose.
4. Classic Instruments Autocross series instruments. Tachometer, fuel level, fuel pressure, oil pressure, coolant temperature, turbo boost, and volts. The square gizmo to the right of the gauges sets the RPM point at which the red shift light on the tach comes on.
5. Speedway aluminum bomber seats with Sid Chavers custom cushions and Speedway 5 point belts.
6. 12.5 to 1 steering ratio. Can be changed for quicker or slower steering.
7. Two sets of wheels and tires. Note – with attention to offset there is no limit to tire size.
a. On Advan RC wheels, Hankook Ventus R-S3, size 225/45ZR17, with maybe 10 runs.
b. On Drag Wheels, Falcon Azenis, size 225/45ZR17 with 40 or so runs.
8. The car is registered as a 1923 Model T Ford and is street legal. Registration is current. No smog required.
I’ll include a single axel trailer custom made to fit this car. It has trailer brakes.
With all wheel drive, quick steering, and a great power to weight ratio, this car is a kick to drive. It is track ready as is and has the potential to have the fastest time of day with a good driver which I am not. The one time Mike Maier drove it he did just that.
Price - $19995.
Located in Nor Cal.
